Synopsis
Ese and Jay seem like a perfect couple – A nice house, Two lovely kids, a house help – But things are not always as they seem. What people do not know is that after almost four years of marriage, Ese and Jay still grabble to understand each other.
It’s their wedding anniversary; the fourth one and Jay’s about to commit the same offense, the same offense he commits every anniversary; he forgets it! Or has he? But whatever the answer is, this anniversary must be devoid of the dramas of the past anniversary. But drama is one thing always in stock in this cosmopolitan working class family.
Jay, a former bestseller author, recently relocated to Nigeria, must be careful how he spends to avoid putting pressure on their finance. Ese is an ambitious social worker, and finds it hard to cope with Jay’s inconsiderate actions! The maid knows something; But whatever she knows must not spill over.
The Two Both of Us is a hilarious comedy about an urban couple who try to deal with the realities of marriage. It highlights the personal battles of living with someone with directly different interests and way of life. It shows how people sit on the fence to create a cordial atmosphere.

“For The First Time” is a modern-day depiction of a hardworking married couple who suddenly find themselves wanting to do something new for the first time. The play provokes a consciousness that challenges the way people perceive the realities of their long-term relationships. This is definitely a riveting and soul-searching play that will keep the audience captivated upon commencing.
It is an intensely dramatic, humorous and spellbinding piece that will immediately get the audience feeling the tension between the couple – Tomi and Femi. Tomi Williams is a Pharmacist who devotes a significant amount of time and attention to her career rather than to her marriage, while Femi Williams is a business executive who considers his past to be a labyrinth of vague memories and his future seems to be an end rather than a beginning. This marriage of 22 years will face incredible tests of endurance in sacrifices, remorse, and trust in this full-circle mysterious drama.
Pamela Smith who plays Tomi Williams, along with outstanding co-star, Todd Manaigo, who plays her husband, Femi Williams, plans to tell a story that is certain to evoke heartfelt emotions from each person witnessing this theatrical production.
